None is Easier Than Some T-Shirt

Part of my recovery t-shirt collection, None is Easier Than Some is a mantra that helps us combat our addictive brain’s attempts to convince us we can have “just one” drink, puff, pill, bite, etc. The neural pathways our addictions carved in our brains are merely dammed up when we are abstinent, and the dam will dissolve the moment we pick up that first hit of our substance of choice. None is easier than some because we can no longer just have some without being right back where we were before.
